Who are we?

King’s Court Comedy was founded in 2022 by two ambitious young comedians with one mission: to breathe new life into Boston’s comedy scene, and snag a little more stage time while they were at it. What began as a humble show at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston quickly became a cultural spark in Boston’s comedy revival, with performances popping up everywhere from bookstores and coffee shops to hidden speakeasies. But no venue hit quite like The SMILE HIGH CLUB.

Originally tucked away in Chinatown, The SMILE HIGH CLUB has since grown into the Northeast’s premier private comedy lounge, a magnet for both touring comics and Boston’s local talent. It’s more than a comedy show; it’s an underground institution.
